            My friends, we are living in the most challenging times since the Great Depression.  And for the children and families whose lives are already marred by poverty and instability – those who NECO serves through its many partnerships – the economic downturn promises to make their lives even worse.  Now, more than ever, we need to stand together and make sure that those who have less are not neglected.
